You said that you could cook and bake.

You meant if you'd been taught.

You said for kids you'd want to wait.

In this lie you've been caught.

You said we'd only good times know.

This was another lie.

Even so, I'll let you know,

You never make the bed just right.

You never said you could.

You never wrap your arms 'round tight.

You never said you would.

You said you never liked to kiss,

And this I found was true.

But never despite all of this,

Will I stop loving you.

Writer's Block

I understand that writer's block is just another term for procrastination, but I am feeling uninspired lately. I want to create something! How nice it would be if I went away to some place with no distractions and just wrote whatever came to mind. I might try that free form of writing, that stream of consciousness writing.
